Gentle Hand Soap Suggestions

Cooking is really tough on my hands. I've tried doing it with gloves, but it's laughable. Like a clown who can't juggle there are flying potatoes everywhere! My dermo suggested Avene XeraCalm and that worked until it didn't. Guess how many bottles of that I have in the closet! I went back to Dove sensitive bars, but if I use that several times to clear oil from my skin it is too drying. So what I do is wipe off with a paper towel and rub my hands under water. My skin is made crispy dry and sandpaper rough. I'm in the U.S. and wondering if anyone has a similar situation and any ideas. Thanks!

Hello, I’ve also been through the hand soap search and I highly recommend moon valley foaming hand soaps (on Amazon). I myself was very limited as the dermatologist tested that I was allergic to vitamin E (tocopherol acetate, etc) and beeswax (Cera alba), which cut out most “organic” type brands. otherwise I suggest you look at goat’s milk soap bars, which for me was less irritating than liquid soaps. It definitely left my skin drier, but less “irritated” later on, if that makes sense—which was why the moon valley has been the perfect surprise!
