Pea shoots (sprouts) - okay on FID?
Seeking clarification over these.
The Healthy Skin Kitchen book that I have just received (thankyou!) says they are very good.
I can't find them on the Foodfinder.
Are they okay for FID?
I'd love to try them, if so.
(I am already eating Mung Bean Sprouts)

Hi - thanks for asking.
I have been doing FID for 5 months. It's been slow, but the point is, I have got there.
FID has been amazing. I have been eating well across the range and using AM and PM over the past couple of months.
The comparison with where I was before I started is unbelievable.
I am now 80% clear. My skin is so much stronger than it has ever been.
And I say 80% just because I still have some fading 'footprints' on my legs and still get the odd, random, superficial leopard spot rash on my chest/neck/shoulder/torso area. I suspect this rash is part of the natural healing process and it is just last to go - my skin here is still very easily triggered and very sensitive - as I can't find a trigger within the current diet/environment.
I started to reintroduce about a month ago by testing amines, I started with trout and salmon as I needed more calcium from food. The fresh trout was fine, the fresh salmon I reacted to; I did leave a gap, but it still could have been an accumulation in amines (or just yucky farmed salmon with who knows what in it!) I'll try them both another time. I then had to wait for that to clear and I then started to trial an antihistamine for the random leopard spots. I have just come to the end of that trial so in a few days I will see if that was having an effect - and I'll also be ready to start testing again!
I will definitely use the pea sprouts I have. That's good.
Just for guidance - is it better in the main, though, to go back to testing amines first, then to salicylates, as in the ED book, or can I do salicylates first, for example, or can I alternate - ie whatever my body feels right to do?
