Fabric
I try to buy 100% cotton and bamboo. I have read and seem to do well with the popular lyocell/TENCEL ( a cellulose fibre derived from bamboo or wood pulp in a closed-loop manufacturing system that uses less toxic chemicals and recycles almost 100% of solvent in the process). Linen, hemp, Modal, and silk (are their rules about modern-day silk?) are supposed to be safe.
Not eczema safe are: Polyester, Nylon, Acrylic, Rayon, Spandex, Modacrylic, fleece (although some fleece will also say it's 100% cotton), and the ever itchy Wool.
Confusing are the companies that label their products Rayon made from Bamboo.
Or the extreme amount of 95% cotton and 5% nylon products. If it feels soft and smooth should these be safe?
Given how hard is it to find 100% safe clothes that fit. My skin doesn't like pants or shorts because they have waistbands, even if they are 100% organic cotton.
I've also read dermatologists say it's not what the fabric is made of but if the fibres are short or long. The shorts fibres irritate and the longer ones don't. This is why Modal is safe. Heaven knows what these Microfibers developed just for sensitive skin are.

I don't see "bamboo" as a fabric in North America. We calll it Viscose made from bamboo. Does that still count as safe?
