Reheating Alkaline Vegetable Broth

Hi there. I made some alkaline vegetable broth two days ago. Put most of it in the freezer, but left some in the fridge. (The recipe in the book said it would keep in the fridge for up to a week).

I just used the broth from the fridge today in a soup (FID programme). There is a little bit of soup leftover. Is it ok to reheat that again tomorrow, or is that a no-go since I've already reheated the alkaline broth once?

Hi Alison :)

It's generally recommended to avoid reheating food more than once as each time you reheat it, there's a higher risk of bacterial growth. However, if you've handled the broth properly, stored it correctly in the fridge, and reheated it thoroughly to a safe temperature the first time, it should be safe to reheat again the next day. :)
