Lettuces
Now I'm testing salicylates, is there a moderate salicylate option? I've checked the foodfinder for lettuces, but can't find any information on these ones: Summer green, little oak, cos, butterhead.
I'm already eating romaine and pak choi, but would like some more variety or options when they aren't available.
Do you have any advice about them?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Rowenna!
I recommend referring to the complete chemical food chart in the resources as it contains a list of all fruits, vegetables, grains, protein sources and fats that are moderate in salicylates which you can test. You can find it here. 😊
Regarding the varieties you provided, oak and cos lettuce contain moderate levels of salicylates, making them suitable for testing as well. However, I couldn't find sufficient research on the salicylate levels in summer green and butterhead lettuce, so I recommend testing the remaining varieties first.
Please let me know if you have any further questions 😊
