FID Questions

So sorry, me again!

I have noticed my allergies have been flaring up since stopping antihistamines on the FID diet and I’m wondering if I can start taking them again based on the severity of my allergies?

A bit of background re my allergies: Around 3 years ago, I found out I am severely allergic to house dustmites and have giant papillary conjunctivitis. I am currently going through a desensitisation process with my immunologist to help relieve symptoms. As part of this process, I have been taking antihistamines, as well as a nasal spray and eyedrops. I’m not sure if you can offer advice on this? Or I’m happy to talk to my doctor if that’s better?

In other news, I am so grateful for your advice re what to eat at the two weddings I’ve been to! I’m stoked that my skin didn’t react and I was able to enjoy the weddings without having to worry about my eczema. Thank you so much Karen and Katie xx
