Maintaining Weight
For various reasons I've spent six months learning the Eczema Diet and making food changes incrementally. I expect to be able to start testing in the near future. I have had few to no break outs now for some time. I DO have very dry feet, palms and scalp, so this is what I hope to turn around. That's my backstory.
Eating this way has been an effortless way to lose a few pounds, but now I've dropped below a weight I'd like to be at. To make sure it wasn't something more serious I added back a lot of things I had cut out and I put a few pounds back on.
Soooo, if anyone else has been puzzling over what it takes to ingest enough calories to keep within a five pound range I'd be curious to hear. Everyone's metabolism is different obviously, so it's a tricky question. We always think go to more carbs, but if I rely on potatoes I'll have another topic to discuss-constipation. Perhaps another day for that one.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate all your ideas and I'll see what works the best and let you know.
In response to your questions:
My BMI has always been in the normal range for my age and height. I think more even distribution of calories across three meals would be a goal. My midday consumption may be too low at times.
I think oil wise I was pretty lean going on the teaspoon per day amount which isn't much. I'll add on there. An ounce plus per day would be a big difference.
Also, I do perform better with some protein in the morning, but I'll increase that with the powders. I have it in my stash, but haven't gotten into using it. I find the fiber from the vegetables leave me feeling "full," and topping off with smoothies seemed like too much. I'll tinker around and let you know.
Thanks again,
Joleen
